Autumn Anderson
Director of Operations
Autumn Anderson was raised in Idaho on a farm with nine siblings. They grew a large garden every year, which cultivated Autumn’s love for plants and growing them. Her family raised many different animals and livestock alongside gardening.
Plants have always played a significant role in Autumn’s life. She learned about the uses of numerous plants for food and medicine from her mom and brother, who are master gardeners. Her brother taught her how to make salves, and her mom was always there with herbal tea when they weren’t feeling well.
Autumn joined the FFA in high school and excelled at identifying plants. She trained as an ultrasound and X-ray technician after college, but she had always wanted to be a botanist or herbalist.
In 2006, Autumn relocated to Shirttail Corner, where she first met Jana and her family. Prior to becoming a major part of the team, she assisted at Bears Ears Farms and worked on a horse ranch.
Autumn and her husband, Kelly, find joy in collecting edible plants and rock hounding. For fun, you’ll find both Autumn and her husband driving through the canyon, finding edible plants, like wild garlic and parsley to use in delicious meals at home.
Kelly is a medical professional who also enjoys gardening and discussing plants with Autumn. Because of their long days and heavy workload, they find the BEF products to be especially beneficial. Autumn is thrilled to be a part of a team that is using hemp products to make a difference and is now fulfilling her desire to be an herbalist and botanist at Bears Ears Farms, her home away from home.
